The Heckler & Koch USP 45 Expert Variant 1 combines the proven USP platform with competition-ready upgrades straight from the factory. A 5.2-inch cold-hammer-forged match barrel with an O-ring lock-up, extended slide, and adjustable target sights deliver the accuracy serious shooters expect. Built in Germany and marked with CIP “DE” proofs, this full-size .45 ACP pistol retains the USP’s robust DA/SA controls, ambidextrous paddle mag release, and modular trigger group, while adding a tuned match trigger and recoil-reduction buffer.

This Expert variant extends the standard USP slide to capture the full 7.50-inch sight radius of its micrometer-adjustable rear sight and serrated front blade, yielding a crisp sight picture for precision work.
The match-grade barrel’s O-ring promotes tight lock-up, and its polygonal rifling aids velocity and ease of cleaning. A recoil buffer built into the spring assembly softens felt recoil, supporting faster follow-up shots.
Variant 1 controls pair a DA/SA system with a left-side thumb safety/decocker, while the ambidextrous paddle magazine release remains intuitive for either hand. The modular trigger group can be reconfigured into nine USP variants if desired.
HK’s Hostile Environment finish on the extended slide resists corrosion, and the glass-fiber-reinforced polymer frame keeps weight manageable without sacrificing durability. An included rail adapter converts the proprietary frame notch to true Picatinny spec for modern weapon lights or lasers.
