What’s Included
- Bianchi #5BHL leather belt holster
Colt introduced the Python in 1955 as its flagship revolver, and by 1964 production had settled into a level of hand-fitting and polish that enthusiasts still prize today. This example retains that craftsmanship, evident in the tight lock-up and glass-smooth trigger pull.
The 2.5-inch carbon-steel barrel carries the model’s signature ventilated rib and full under-lug, providing excellent balance despite the shorter length. Chambered in .357 Magnum, the six-shot recessed cylinder handles high-pressure loads while remaining compatible with .38 Special ammunition.
A factory Bright Nickel finish covers the frame, cylinder, and barrel, contrasted by original checkered walnut round-butt grips bearing the Colt medallion. The external hammer, smooth curved trigger, and adjustable Accro rear sight give the shooter precise control.
An inspector mark “V” appears on the frame, further verifying its 1960s Colt lineage. The revolver ships with a Bianchi #5BHL leather holster, ready for range use or secure storage in a collection.
