This is the first-generation Smith & Wesson M&P9, a full-size 9mm pistol built for duty use and personal defense. It features the original no-thumb-safety configuration, a 4.25-inch stainless steel barrel, and a Melonite-treated slide that resists corrosion and wear. What’s Included
- Smith & Wesson M&P9 Gen 1 pistol
- One 17-round factory Smith & Wesson steel magazine
The M&P9’s striker-fired action delivers a consistent trigger pull, complemented by a hinged trigger safety and a sear deactivation lever for administrative handling. The reversible magazine release supports left- or right-handed shooters.
The slide is machined from stainless steel and finished in black Melonite for enhanced hardness and corrosion resistance. Wave-style rear serrations provide a positive grasp when charging or conducting press checks.
A glass-filled polymer frame keeps weight down while an embedded stainless-steel chassis adds rigidity. The interchangeable back-strap system lets the shooter tailor grip size, and the low bore axis helps reduce muzzle rise during rapid strings.
Standard 3-dot iron sights offer a familiar sight picture. A three-slot accessory rail in front of the trigger guard accepts lights or lasers without additional modifications.
