This Classic series kit was built by Sig Sauer for shooters who want the economy of rimfire without buying a second gun. Installation is quick: swap the centerfire slide for this blowback-operated .22 LR upper, load the included magazine, and you’re ready to go.
The 4.5" fixed barrel is press-fitted and pinned into the slide for solid alignment and reliable accuracy. A captive recoil spring and guide rod simplify reassembly and keep small parts in place during fieldstripping.
Hard-coat anodizing protects the lightweight aluminum slide while rear cocking serrations provide a positive grip surface. The dovetail-mounted plain blade front sight teams with a fully adjustable rear sight, allowing precise elevation and windage corrections for various rimfire loads.
Because the kit retains the original P220 frame, shooters keep the same single-action/double-action trigger pull, controls, and grip profile they already trust. With production now discontinued, finding a factory-complete kit in excellent condition is increasingly rare.
