This limited-edition Ruger New Bearcat is the Lipsey's distributor-exclusive Model 0915, built in 2013 with a compact 3-inch barrel and full stainless construction. A factory roll-engraved bear-and-cougar scene adorns the unfluted cylinder, and smooth hardwood grips carry inset Ruger medallions. With only light prior handling, this single-action revolver offers a collectible blend of classic Bearcat styling, modern transfer-bar safety, and a short-barrel profile that is not the Shopkeeper variant.

Ruger produced this 3-inch New Bearcat exclusively for Lipsey's, making it a limited-run revolver sought after by Bearcat enthusiasts. The short barrel trims overall length while retaining the classic Bearcat frame, giving the gun quick handling without the bird-head grip of the Shopkeeper model.
The cold-hammer-forged stainless barrel and matching stainless frame, cylinder, and hardware wear a uniform satin finish that resists corrosion and highlights the factory cylinder engraving. The six-shot cylinder is unfluted and roll-marked “RUGER BEARCAT” alongside the bear-and-cougar artwork.
Inside, a transfer-bar/half-cock hybrid system allows safe carry with all six chambers loaded while preserving traditional single-action loading feel. The smooth trigger and spur hammer provide a crisp break consistent with Ruger’s modern Bearcat line.
