The reverse two-tone finish pairs a brushed natural stainless frame with a black Nitron slide, both sides of which carry the Max Michel “MM” logo engraving for quick visual identity on the line.
Competition-grade parts come standard: a skeletonized Koenig-style speed hammer, EGW sear and firing pin, flat-faced solid aluminum trigger, and a Dawson ICE magwell for fast magazine changes. Forward and rear cocking serrations and an external extractor round out the slide package.
Upgraded XS sights are installed—a white-outline front post and a fully adjustable Bomar-pattern rear—delivering a sharp, high-contrast sight picture. The original sight set ships in the case for those who prefer factory configuration.
Ergonomics are competition-ready with 26 lpi checkering on both the front strap and mainspring housing, plus black G10 chain-link grips featuring a recessed “X” motif. Ambidextrous thumb safeties and a grip safety provide familiar 1911 controls.
Chambered in .45 ACP with a government-length 5-inch barrel, the pistol feeds from standard single-stack magazines (four included) for a 7+1 capacity—fully compliant with USPSA Single-Stack Division rules.
