STI Staccato 2011 Costa Carry Comp 9mm, Limited Costa Ludus Edition with Integrated Compensator
This Staccato 2011 Costa Carry Comp is a limited-production collaboration between STI International and Chris Costa’s Costa Ludus. Built in the USA and now discontinued, the pistol features a stainless bull barrel with an integral single-port compensator and island-mounted fiber-optic front sight that stays level during cycling. A black DLC finish, aggressive polymer grip module with silicon-carbide overlay, and a 20+1 round capacity make this full-size 9mm a standout for shooters and collectors alike.

The Costa Carry Comp combines STI’s double-stack 2011 platform with a true island barrel compensator. The compensator is machined directly into the 4.15 in. stainless bull barrel, reducing muzzle rise and keeping the fiber-optic front sight flat for fast follow-up shots.
A tri-top slide with both front and rear cocking serrations wears a durable black DLC finish and carries laser-etched Costa markings. The flat-topped profile lowers reciprocating mass and provides a clean sight picture.
The steel frame is also DLC-finished and includes a full-length Picatinny rail for lights or lasers. STI’s Recoil Master dual-spring guide rod system further smooths cycling and mitigates felt recoil.
Controls include an ambidextrous thumb safety, grip safety, and a skeletonized single-action trigger breaking at roughly 3.5 lb. The tan polymer grip module features STI’s TreeBark texture enhanced with a silicon-carbide wrap for a locked-in hold.
As a discontinued Costa Ludus signature series with the TG serial prefix, this pistol is both a capable shooter and a scarce collectible.
