The Mossberg MC2c is a slim, double-stack compact pistol introduced at SHOT Show 2020. It combines a 1.10 in-wide frame with 13-round standard capacity, a flat-face 5.5 lb trigger, and Mossberg’s Safe-Takedown System that lets you fieldstrip without pulling the trigger. A DLC-coated stainless barrel and aggressively serrated slide add durability and confident manipulation, while the 18° grip angle and textured polymer frame provide natural pointability.

The MC2c’s 3.9-in 416 stainless barrel wears a durable black DLC coating that resists corrosion and reduces glare. Matching DLC on the slide pairs with bold front and rear serrations designed for positive control, even with gloves.
Mossberg’s Safe-Takedown plate allows tool-less disassembly without touching the trigger, adding a layer of mechanical safety during maintenance. The flat-face trigger breaks at approximately 5.5 lb, promoting consistent finger placement and a straight-back press.
The glass-reinforced polymer frame features aggressive stippling panels and an 18° grip angle inspired by the 1911, giving a secure hold and natural point of aim. A reversible magazine release supports left- or right-handed operation.
