The 5" stainless-steel barrel is threaded 1/2x28, ready for most popular muzzle devices or suppressors. Combined with the Tempo system, it helps manage recoil and maintain reliability with high-velocity 5.7x28mm loads.
An optics-ready slide cut for RMSc/Docter-footprint red-dot sights allows fast sight acquisition without additional machining. Forward and rear cocking serrations and lightening cuts reduce slide weight and enhance handling.
The flat-face trigger features a pivoting safety tab, while an integrated trigger safety and the NTS (No Thumb Safety) configuration deliver a clean, consistent break with straightforward manual of arms.
Aggressive molded grip texturing, a four-slot MIL-STD-1913 accessory rail, and reversible mag release support strong control and true ambidextrous use. Steel three-dot sights provide a clear sight picture out of the box and the rear sight is drift-adjustable for windage.
Engineered and built in the USA, the M&P 5.7 sets a high round-count benchmark for the series with its 22-round magazines, making it the highest-capacity M&P handgun produced to date.
