The full-size 9mm marries a Nitron-coated stainless slide to a hard-anodized alloy frame, incorporates the SRT (Short Reset Trigger) system, and arrives with four 20-round magazines. TruGlo TFO tritium/fiber-optic front and SIGLITE rear night sights supply round-the-clock visibility, and the extended beavertail plus flared mag-well grip promote quick, assured handling.

Built on the battle-tested P226 foundation, the TacOps variant layers on purpose-built enhancements. Deep front and rear slide serrations provide a solid grasp for press-checks and manipulations, and a robust external extractor enhances functional reliability.
Its hard-anodized alloy frame wears an extended beavertail for improved recoil management and houses a three-slot Picatinny rail ready for lights or lasers. Checkered polymer panels with a built-in funnel-style mag-well speed reloads without enlarging the grip profile.
SIG’s SRT mechanism trims the trigger’s reset distance while preserving the familiar DA/SA operating cycle. Paired with a tactile push-button mag release and generously sized controls, the P226 TacOps is equally comfortable on the duty belt or in the competition holster.
