This Browning BPS Field Grade I combines the model’s well-known bottom-eject, ambidextrous design with a 26-inch vent-rib barrel, Invector-Plus choke system, and a 3" chamber. Manufactured in 2000 and upgraded with a clip-on green fiber-optic front sight and an extended modified choke tube, it offers modern versatility while retaining Browning’s forged-steel durability and smooth dual-bar pump action.

Bore Condition: Excellent – Clean, mirror finish, no signs of wear.
Specific Condition Notes: Light handling marks are present on the walnut stock, and there is minor finish wear on the receiver consistent with careful field use.

The BPS’s bottom-eject system sends spent shells straight down, keeping the ejection path clear for both right- and left-handed shooters and protecting the action from debris.
The forged and machined steel receiver wears a high-polish blue finish that matches the barrel’s gloss blue. Dual action bars guide the stroke, giving the pump a smooth, solid feel.
This Field Grade I sports a walnut stock and beavertail fore-end, both cut-checkered for a secure grip. A factory recoil pad, straight comb, and 14" length of pull complete the full-size layout.
The 26" barrel uses Browning’s Invector-Plus system, allowing the shotgun to handle modern steel or lead loads. The included extended modified choke delivers a tighter, consistent pattern, while the vent rib and bright fiber-optic bead make target acquisition fast in varied light.
Chambered for 2 3/4" or 3" shells and holding two rounds in the magazine plus one in the chamber, this 2000-production BPS offers reliable field performance with thoughtful upgrades already in place.
