What’s Included
- Norinco 1.5–4.5x32mm SFP duplex scope with 1" rings (installed)
- Pair of quick-detach sling swivels (installed)
The Ultragon barrel uses a 1:36 twist and recessed crown to stabilize modern sabot slugs, pairing heavy carbon-steel rigidity with a rifling profile that reduces fouling and promotes consistent velocity.
The top-break, extractor-only action keeps operation simple and reliable. An external hammer and single trigger provide straightforward control, while the matte blued finish resists glare in the field.
American hardwood furniture features a Monte Carlo comb, pistol grip, and ventilated recoil pad, giving the 14.5" length of pull a steady, comfortable feel. The satin walnut-stained finish complements the blued steel for a classic, workmanlike look.
Factory scope rail and installed variable-power optic let the shooter take full advantage of the barrel’s accuracy potential right out of the box. Quick-detach swivels add sling versatility without additional hardware.
Produced in Gardner, Massachusetts until H&R’s 2015 closure, this HL-prefix Ultra Slug Hunter represents the final generation of a model known for dependable slug performance.
