Produced in West Hurley, New York between the 1970s and 1990s, this Auto-Ordnance represents one of the earliest civilian reproductions of the WWII-era Government Model. It retains the pre-Series 80 design, omitting the firing-pin safety for a traditional trigger feel.
The pistol features a full-size, 5-inch barrel chambered in .45 ACP and pairs a short serrated trigger with a spur hammer. Manual thumb and grip safeties, along with an inertial firing pin, provide the familiar 1911 control layout.
