The 4.6 inch steel barrel is threaded 1/2x28 UNEF and uses polygonal rifling for consistent velocity and simplified cleaning. Factory maritime striker-channel drainage ensures the pistol can be fired immediately after water exposure without field stripping.
Walther’s Tenifer QPQ finish hardens the slide surface to roughly 64 HRC and delivers outstanding corrosion resistance—ideal for coastal or humid environments. German CIP N proofs with the BI date code verify 2021 production and compliance with stringent testing standards.
The polymer frame incorporates Walther’s interchangeable backstrap system for small, medium, and large hand sizes. A reversible push-button magazine release accommodates left- or right-handed shooters, while aggressive front and rear slide serrations offer positive manipulation in adverse conditions.
Low-profile three-dot sights provide a clear sight picture without snagging on gear. Two recoil spring assemblies—one standard and one tuned for suppressed use—allow the shooter to optimize reliability with or without a sound suppressor.
