Walther PPK .32 ACP Pre-War 1933 Zella-Mehlis High-Polish Blue Crown/N Proof
This early-production Walther PPK was built in 1933 at the original Walther factory in Zella-Mehlis, Germany. Collectors prize these pre-war pistols for their fine machining, high-polish blued finish, and Crown/N German commercial proof marks. An intact 90° safety/decocker, lanyard loop, and marbled brown Bakelite grips confirm this pistol’s authentic pre-WWII configuration.

What’s Included
- Walther PPK .32 ACP pistol
- 2 × 7-round Mec-Gar steel magazines marked “M” and “MADE IN ITALY”
Manufactured only one year after the PPK’s 1932 introduction, this example represents the earliest phase of civilian production. The Crown/N proofs and absence of later Eagle markings confirm pre-war commercial status, making it an appealing find for Walther historians.
The pistol retains its original high-polish blued carbon-steel slide and frame. Distinctive 16-flute vertical slide serrations and the loaded-chamber indicator remain crisp. The slide-mounted safety doubles as a decocker and still operates with the characteristic 90° rotation found on the first-generation design.
Internally, the blowback DA/SA action cycles smoothly. The clean, shiny bore with sharp rifling supports reliable accuracy from the 3.3-inch barrel. A ring hammer, fixed half-moon front blade, and U-notch rear sight complete the classic PPK profile.
Compact dimensions, a 7+1 capacity, and renowned Walther craftsmanship make this 1933 Zella-Mehlis PPK both a functional sidearm and a significant collectible.
