The CM9’s 3.1-inch, button-rifled barrel is cut from 416 stainless steel and uses conventional rifling, allowing safe use of unjacketed lead bullets—an uncommon benefit in today’s micro pistols.
Kahr’s patented offset feed-ramp design lowers the bore axis, helping manage recoil while keeping the slide profile at a slim 0.90 inches. The slide is matte stainless with rear cocking serrations and locks open after the last round.
The striker-fired DAO action delivers a consistent 6-pound pull. Safety is handled internally by a striker block and inertial striker system—no external levers to snag during the draw.
