The SAM7R starts with a solid, hot-die hammer-forged milled steel receiver, delivering rigidity and recoil-absorbing mass uncommon in stamped AK variants. The Circle 10 proofmark and Arsenal – Las Vegas import stamp verify genuine Bulgarian manufacture and U.S. compliance.
Its 16.3-inch Steyr-licensed cold-hammer-forged chrome-lined barrel is threaded 14×1 mm LH and capped by a removable muzzle nut, ready for brakes, flash hiders, or suppressor mounts. Chrome lining resists corrosion, while the 1:240 mm twist stabilizes standard 7.62x39 loads.
The FIME Group single-hook fire control group offers a smooth, predictable break. Combined with the milled receiver, it gives the shooter a solid and repeatable trigger feel that sets this rifle apart from many factory AKs.
