This custom Anderson Manufacturing AM-15 Utility-16 pairs a 16-inch 4150 CMV nitride barrel with a free-float 15-inch M-LOK handguard for reliable accuracy and accessory flexibility. A post-sale upgrade adds a fixed rifle-length A2 buttstock and a “USS JOHN F. KENNEDY CVN-79” medallion on the magwell, giving the rifle a distinctive, collectible touch while preserving its full-size, duty-ready profile.
Condition
Overall Condition: Very good – showing only light, superficial signs of prior handling or use.
Specific Condition Notes: The handguard has a few scuffs, but the rifle is otherwise in great shape.

The forged 7075-T6 receivers feature a durable Type III hard-coat anodized finish and standard controls, making maintenance straightforward and parts compatibility broad.
Its 16" medium/Gov’t-profile barrel is threaded 1/2-28 for common muzzle devices and capped with an A2 flash hider. The 1:8 RH twist stabilizes a wide range of 5.56 NATO and .223 Rem projectiles.
A carbine-length direct-impingement gas system balances smooth cycling with reduced recoil impulse, while the free-float aluminum handguard provides ample M-LOK slots and a short Picatinny bridge for optics or iron sights.
The installed fixed rifle-length A2 buttstock delivers a solid cheek weld and traditional handling, complementing the A2-pattern pistol grip for a familiar control layout.
