This BD variant replaces the traditional manual safety with a frame-mounted decocking lever, allowing safe hammer lowering without shifting grip. Combined with a firing-pin block and hammer safety stop notch, it delivers a layered safety system while retaining a smooth DA/SA trigger.
The cold-hammer-forged 4.6-inch barrel is known for long service life and consistent accuracy. Internal slide-in-frame rails lower the bore axis, reducing muzzle flip and guiding the slide on full-length steel contact surfaces.
The pistol carries CZ’s black polycoat finish over its steel frame and slide, providing corrosion resistance and an even, matte surface. Fixed three-dot sights offer a clear, snag-free sight picture, and checkered black polymer panels supply a firm grip without adding weight.
Made in the Czech Republic and CIP-proofed, this example bears Czech proof marks along with the CZ-USA Kansas City import stamp, confirming its authentic origin and compliant import to the United States.
