The heart of this Model 41 is its 7-inch carbon-steel barrel. The barrel is button-rifled, sports a full-length under-lug, and features a matte, serrated rib that reduces glare while adding rigidity—an ideal setup for slow, deliberate target work.
The single-action, straight-blowback action is paired with a skeletonized trigger that includes an over-travel screw for fine adjustment. Combined with the fully adjustable micrometer rear sight and Patridge front sight, the pistol is built for precise shot placement.
Both frame and slide are machined from carbon steel and finished in high-polish blue on the flats, with matte surfaces on the rib and under-lug for contrast and glare control. Rear vertical slide serrations provide a positive grasp without disrupting the clean lines.
Factory checkered walnut target grips feature a pronounced palm swell and flared base, giving the shooter a stable, repeatable hold. A manual safety and slide stop complete the familiar S&W control layout.
