Stoeger Luger .22 LR Standard 4.5" Alloy-Frame Semi-Auto Pistol – Early Production
This early production Stoeger Luger Standard pairs the classic Luger profile with a lightweight 7075-T6 aluminum alloy frame and non-locking blowback toggle action. The 4.5-inch tapered carbon-steel barrel, blued steel receiver, and smooth walnut grips give it the look collectors expect, while the alloy frame trims weight and adds scarcity compared with later steel-frame examples.

What’s Included
- Stoeger Luger .22 LR pistol
- 1× 10-round factory magazine with steel body and round polymer floorplate
The Stoeger Luger series was produced in the United States after Stoeger secured exclusive rights to the “Luger” trademark, offering shooters a rimfire rendition of the iconic design. This example is the STLR-4 alloy-frame variant, distinguished by its lighter weight and lower production numbers compared with later steel-frame pistols.
The pistol operates by a straightforward blowback system, yet retains the signature toggle knobs for charging, preserving the original Luger handling feel without the complexity of a locked-breech mechanism.
Controls are familiar and functional: a manual thumb safety marked with raised “S/F” letters, fixed square-notch rear sight integral to the barrel extension, and a dovetailed serrated ramp front sight for a clear sight picture.
The 4.5-inch tapered carbon-steel barrel balances rapid target acquisition with practical overall length, while the blued finish on barrel and receiver contrasts cleanly with the black anodized alloy frame.
Smooth walnut grip panels complete the classic look, and the pistol ships with one 10-round magazine, making it range-ready out of the box.
