Aero Precision M5 AR-10 .308 Win Semi-Auto Rifle – 20" 416R Stainless Barrel, Fortis Free-Float Handguard
This custom-built Aero Precision M5 pairs battle-proven forged receivers with a 20-inch 416R stainless barrel and a suite of premium aftermarket parts. Chambered in .308 Winchester and built on the AR-10 platform, it offers long-range capability in a lightweight, fully ambidextrous package.
Condition
Overall Condition: Very good condition, showing only light, superficial signs of prior handling or use.
Bore Condition: Excellent - Clean, mirror finish, no signs of wear.
Rifling Condition: Excellent Rifling - Sharp lands and grooves.
The receiver and handguard display a few light scratches and small cosmetic blemishes from previous handling. A state-compliant magazine release has been installed.

The 20" straight-profile barrel is cut from 416R stainless steel, magnetic-particle inspected, and finished with a LANTAC Dragon muzzle brake that keeps recoil flat for fast follow-up shots. A 1:11 twist optimizes performance with heavier .308 projectiles.
Fortis Manufacturing’s free-float aluminum handguard features a continuous, T-marked Picatinny top rail and ample M-LOK slots for accessories. A skeletonized angled fore-grip is already installed for improved weapon control.
Ambidextrous controls include a Radian charging handle, short-throw safety selector, and an extended right-side bolt-release lever, making the rifle equally accessible to left- or right-handed shooters.
The 7075-T6 forged upper and lower receivers are hard-coat anodized in black. Aero’s receiver tensioning screw removes upper-lower play, while a flared magazine well speeds reloads. The rifle accepts SR-25/DPMS pattern magazines.
Furniture is rounded out with a Hogue over-molded rubber pistol grip and a six-position Daniel Defense collapsible stock featuring QD sling sockets and an 11.0" length of pull.
