What’s Included
- Zbrojovka Brno G.33/40 custom bolt-action rifle chambered in .25-06 Rem.

- Fajen walnut thumb-hole bench-rest stock.
- Picatinny scope rail mounted on receiver.
The original Waffen-Werke Brünn G.33/40 receiver (serial prefix 8556 b) is notable for its controlled-round-feed small-ring Mauser action, prized for strength with reduced weight. This receiver forms the core of the build, preserving WWII manufacturing heritage while supporting precision upgrades.
Accuracy potential is driven by the Hart 28" stainless bull barrel. Hart’s six-groove cut rifling is respected for delivering sub-¼-MOA capability when paired with hand-loads, and the stainless construction resists throat erosion from high-velocity .25-06 Rem. rounds.
The Fajen oil-finished walnut thumb-hole stock adds bench-rest ergonomics. Its flat-bottom forend rides bags smoothly, the 14.0" length of pull fits most adult shooters, and the dense walnut mitigates recoil without adding unnecessary weight.
An adjustable double-set trigger allows the shooter to choose a conventional pull or engage a lighter “set” pull for precise shot release. Combined with the installed Picatinny rail, the action is ready for the shooter’s optic of choice.
Altogether, this firearm illustrates the post-war sporterizing tradition: a collectible military receiver matched with premium American components to create a unique, shoot-ready bench rifle.
