This early-series Wolf uses a hex-head breech plug and a simple trigger-guard latch to pivot the barrel open, streamlining loading and primer insertion. The absence of the breech plug lets the new owner choose the exact replacement style they prefer.
The 24-inch Bergara barrel is forged in Spain from quality steel and cut with a 1:28 twist, stabilizing modern sabot and conical projectiles. CVA rates the platform for up to 150 grains of black powder or black-powder substitute, giving hunters magnum-level velocity in a manageable overall length.
An ambidextrous synthetic stock finished in matte black/grey keeps weight down and resists harsh weather. Moulded ribbed panels improve grip with gloved or bare hands, while a soft recoil pad and factory-installed sling swivel studs add field comfort and carrying convenience.
Bright red fiber-optic pipes in the ramp front sight align quickly with the twin-green rear notch, providing a high-contrast sight picture in varied light without relying on optics. The external hammer offers direct control over ignition and is compatible with standard 209 shotgun primers.
