This Chinese-made Arsenal /26\ Type 56 SKS has been modernized with U.S.-made TAPCO Intrafuse furniture, a forward Picatinny optic rail, and detachable 20-round magazines. Its milled receiver, 20.5-inch barrel, and short-stroke piston system retain the proven SKS mechanical foundation, while the upgrades deliver adjustable ergonomics and accessory flexibility.

The Triangle-26 arsenal mark on the receiver confirms production at China’s Jianshe factory, the primary source for export SKS rifles. Matching shortened serials on the bolt carrier and top cover indicate original factory assembly.
The milled steel receiver and non-removable top cover preserve the Type 56’s durability. A hoodless post front sight remains in place, while the rear sight has been replaced by a scout-style Picatinny rail for red dot or long eye-relief optics.
TAPCO’s Intrafuse stock brings a six-position length-of-pull adjustment and an integral pistol grip, allowing overall length to vary roughly 36–40 inches. The two-piece polymer handguard adds a bottom rail for lights or vertical grips.
Detachable 20-round polymer magazines combine with the intact bayonet lug and 922(r)-compliant U.S. parts count, giving the rifle a higher capacity and modern handling without sacrificing the original 20.5-inch chrome-lined barrel.
