The PSAK-47 GF3 Classic pairs time-tested AK reliability with modern American manufacturing. Built around a 1 mm stamped-steel receiver, this GF3 generation rifle features a hammer-forged bolt, carrier, and front trunnion that PSA endurance-tests to 10,000 rounds. The ventilated steel “cheese-grater” upper hand-guard enhances barrel cooling, while the redwood laminate stock set gives the rifle a traditional look. A left-side optics rail, threaded muzzle, and nitride-treated 4150 CMV barrel round out a feature set aimed at dependable field use and easy customization.

Palmetto State Armory machines the bolt, bolt carrier, and front trunnion from hammer-forged blanks to maximize service life under sustained fire.
The 16.25 inch 4150 CMV barrel is nitride-treated inside and out for corrosion resistance and long-term accuracy retention. Standard M14x1 LH threads accommodate muzzle devices or suppressor adapters.
A ventilated “cheese-grater” steel upper hand-guard works with the stamped lower laminate guard to promote airflow around the barrel, reducing heat during rapid strings.
The fixed redwood laminate buttstock provides a 13 inch length of pull, while matching laminate pistol grip panels complete the classic aesthetic.
An integrated left-side optics rail accepts common AK side-mounts, allowing quick attachment of scopes or red dots without interfering with the rifle’s adjustable tangent rear sight and hooded post front sight.
