This custom Sota Arms Patriot PA15 combines a billet SOTA lower receiver with a Bushmaster BFI 16-inch 5.56 NATO barrel for a reliable, range-ready AR-15. Grey Magpul MOE SL furniture, a multi-prong flash hider, and an American flag engraving give it a distinctive look, while the multi-caliber marking on the lower makes caliber swaps—such as a .22 LR training upper—straightforward.

The billet SOTA PA15 lower is machined from 7075-T6 aluminum and features an integral oversized winter trigger guard for gloved operation. An American flag is factory-engraved above the manufacturer information, adding a patriotic detail collectors will notice.
A Bushmaster BFI 16-inch 4150 CMV chrome-moly barrel is installed, offering a 1:8 right-hand twist that stabilizes a wide range of 5.56 NATO and .223 Remington bullet weights. The barrel is threaded 1/2-28 UNEF and fitted with a multi-prong flash hider to reduce muzzle flash.
The carbine-length gas system uses a low-profile gas block under a grey Magpul MOE SL polymer handguard. This setup keeps weight down while providing M-LOK slots for accessories. A matching grey Magpul MOE SL grip and six-position collapsible stock complete the furniture set and deliver a 14.25-inch length of pull.
The flat-top upper receiver incorporates a full-length Picatinny rail for optics or back-up sights (none included). Because the lower is marked “Multi,” swapping to alternate uppers—such as a dedicated .22 LR unit for inexpensive practice—is simple and does not require additional paperwork.
