The Grade II trim adds tasteful, factory-cut scroll engraving on both receiver side panels, giving this BL-22 an elegant appearance without altering its proven mechanics. The polished blued steel receiver and barrel contrast nicely with the high-gloss walnut stock and fore-end, each set off by fine cut checkering for secure handling.
Functionally, the BL-22 is known for its ultra-short 33-degree lever throw. The trigger travels with the lever, so the shooter’s finger doesn’t shift during cycling—a small detail that speeds follow-up shots and helps keep sights on target.
