The compact steel frame adds welcome mass compared with alloy or polymer competitors, softening recoil while preserving a trim profile for concealed carry. A flared aluminum mag-well speeds reloads and mates cleanly with the included double-stack magazines.
The 4.15" stainless bull barrel features three top ports that vent gas upward. Combined with the slide’s lightening window, this design keeps the muzzle flat without the bulk of an external compensator.
An RMSc-pattern optic cut is machined directly into the slide, allowing low-profile micro red dots to mount flat and co-witness with the factory night sights—luminous front dot and blacked-out rear notch—for clear sight pictures in any light.
The polymer grip module is 3-D printed, aggressively fish-scale textured, and readily replaceable for future customization. Ambidextrous thumb safeties, a grip safety, and a skeletonized commander-style hammer maintain classic 1911 controls.
A tuned, skeletonized trigger breaks at 3.5–4.5 lb for crisp, repeatable shots. All machining, coating, and assembly occur in Florida, where Live Free Armory lists the current MSRP at $1,609.99.
