What’s Included
- Winchester Model 94 Pre-64 Carbine chambered in .30-30
This carbine retains the top-eject layout without later cross-bolt or tang safeties, preserving the original handling profile. Dual barrel bands secure the 20-inch barrel and full-length tubular magazine, which holds six rounds plus one in the chamber.
The receiver is drilled and tapped at the factory for an aperture sight, giving the next owner an easy path to upgrade without altering the rifle. Current iron sights include a ramped front blade and a folding semi-buckhorn rear with elevator.
Walnut stock and fore-end feature a straight grip and oil finish, capped by a flat steel buttplate. Combined with a 13.25-inch length of pull, the rifle balances quickly for woods carry or saddle scabbard use.
Under the blued finish, the carbon-steel receiver and proof-steel barrel reflect Winchester’s mid-century manufacturing quality. The 1:12 right-hand twist is standard for .30-30, supporting a wide range of hunting loads.
