Kimber’s 8400 action is a Mauser-style, controlled-round-feed design with a full-length claw extractor and third safety lug, supported by a three-position safety and an adjustable single-stage trigger.
The stock is a McMillan A-5 fiberglass unit with an aluminum bedding block, height-adjustable cheekpiece, spacer-adjustable 13.5" length of pull, vertical pistol grip, textured panels, and flush QD sling cups, all in desert camouflage to match the barreled action.
A factory 20-MOA Picatinny rail is installed with oversize 8-40 screws, providing a secure base for optics. Included scope rings let you mount a scope immediately.
Feeding is handled by an Accuracy International–pattern detachable box magazine system; both 5- and 10-round steel magazines are supplied.
