The SPS (Special Purpose Synthetic) series delivers the accuracy of the Model 700 action in a lighter, weather-resistant package. Its carbon-steel receiver and barrel wear a matte blued finish—this is a blued gun, not stainless—offering low-glare durability in the field.
The 24-inch sporter-contour barrel features a 1:10 right-hand twist that stabilizes a wide range of .308 bullets. Remington’s three-rings-of-steel design surrounds the cartridge head with the bolt face, barrel shank, and receiver ring for added strength.
An adjustable X-Mark Pro trigger lets the user fine-tune pull weight, while the pillar-bedded synthetic stock maintains consistent barrel alignment. Textured grip inserts and a SuperCell recoil pad improve handling and comfort.
The internal box magazine holds 4+1 rounds, and the receiver is factory drilled, tapped, and fitted with Weaver scope bases for quick optic installation. Integrated sling swivel studs are ready for the included Harris bipod or your preferred carry sling.
