Smith & Wesson M&P 45 Shield M2.0 Thumb Safety .45 ACP Semi-Auto Pistol
The Smith & Wesson M&P 45 Shield M2.0 packs .45 ACP power into one of the thinnest production frames on the market—just 0.99 inches wide. Designed for discreet carry, this micro-size pistol blends a 3.3-inch Armornite-treated barrel, a refined M2.0 trigger with tactile reset, and an embedded steel chassis for added rigidity. An ambidextrous thumb safety and reversible magazine release make it friendly to either hand, while front and rear serrations aid slide manipulation.

This M&P 45 Shield is part of the M2.0 series, bringing the updated wave-pattern grip texture and an improved, crisp trigger with audible reset. Those upgrades translate to better control and faster follow-up shots in a slim, easily concealed package.
The 3.3-inch stainless barrel and the black Armornite-finished slide offer proven corrosion resistance. Front and rear cocking serrations make press-checks straightforward, while steel three-dot sights deliver a sharp sight picture out of the box.
Even at under an inch wide, the pistol still offers multiple safety layers: an ambidextrous manual thumb safety, a hinged trigger safety, striker block, and disconnector. The magazine disconnect allows the gun to fire with the magazine removed—a feature some users prefer for administrative handling.
The single-stack magazine holds seven rounds of .45 ACP, giving the pistol a 7+1 capacity without sacrificing its slim profile. The reversible magazine release supports left- or right-hand operation.
