Winchester Model 70 Stealth II .223 WSSM Bolt-Action Rifle with 26" Heavy Barrel
Built in Winchester’s New Haven factory between 2004 and 2006, this Model 70 Stealth II pairs the flat-shooting .223 WSSM cartridge with a 26-inch heavy, free-floated barrel for maximum down-range stability. A Kevlar/fiberglass/graphite composite stock with an aluminum bedding block keeps weight manageable while delivering a rigid platform. Factory-installed Weaver bases and Burris 1-inch rings make it ready for glass, and the three-position safety adds familiar Model 70 handling. For shooters who want factory precision from a classic American bolt gun, this Stealth II stands out.

The 26-inch heavy contour barrel is free-floated to minimize vibration and is finished in matte bluing that reduces glare. Chambered in .223 WSSM, it offers high velocity and flat trajectories ideal for varmint or target work.
The composite stock features a textured black finish, beavertail forend, and dual front sling studs so a shooter can mount both a sling and bipod simultaneously. A thick rubber recoil pad provides a solid shoulder interface.
Winchester’s controlled-round push-feed action combines smooth cycling with secure cartridge control. The internal five-round hinged floorplate magazine keeps the profile sleek while allowing quick unloading.
A three-position safety lets the shooter load or unload the rifle with the safety engaged. The 13.5-inch length of pull suits a wide range of shooters and maintains proper eye relief when optics are installed.
