The 7-inch 4150 CMV S2W-profile barrel is cold-hammer-forged and chrome-lined for longevity, with a 1:7 right-hand twist that stabilizes the full range of .300 BLK bullet weights. A factory linear compensator threaded 5/8x24 directs blast forward, making the PDW well-suited to confined environments.
The pistol-length gas system, low-profile gas block, and direct-impingement action ensure smooth, reliable cycling with both supersonic and subsonic loads. An ambidextrous Grip-N-Rip charging handle supports rapid manipulations from either shoulder.
The free-float 6-inch MFR XL handguard, machined from 6061-T6 aluminum, provides M-LOK slots at 3, 6, and 9 o’clock plus integral QD sling sockets, giving ample room for accessories while keeping overall length minimal.
A Maxim Defense dual-rod CQB brace with proprietary enhanced buffer offers four-position adjustability and a compact 5.4-inch collapsed length, helping the PDW maintain balance and control during rapid fire.
Built on 7075-T6 hard-coat-anodized upper and lower receivers, the DDM4 PDW is manufactured in the USA and ships as a federally classified pistol, eliminating NFA requirements while delivering rifle-grade firepower in a 20.75-inch overall length package.
