The heart of this build is the 20-inch 416R stainless barrel. Its heavy/target contour, 1:10 twist, and 5/8x24 threading deliver consistent accuracy with a wide range of match-grade .308 loads. A three-baffle side-ported muzzle brake is installed to reduce recoil and muzzle rise.
Aero Precision’s ATLAS R-ONE handguard uses a patent-pending twin-wedge clamping system for a secure fit while keeping weight low. The 15-inch aluminum rail is M-LOK compatible along its length and provides a continuous Picatinny top rail for optics, night-vision bridges, or backup sights.
The upper and lower receivers are machined from 7075-T6 aluminum and finished with a Type III hard-coat anodizing. Controls include an ambidextrous 60° short-throw safety selector with clear pictogram detents and a compliant magazine release.
Furniture upgrades add practical comfort: a gray Magpul fixed stock with QD sling cup and recoil pad offers a 12.25-inch length of pull, while the matching Magpul MOE pistol grip supplies a secure, ergonomic hold.
Built on the AR-10 platform, the rifle accepts standard SR-25/LR-308 pattern magazines, making parts, accessories, and ammunition easy to source.
