Glock G37 Gen3 .45 GAP Full-Size Pistol – Tenifer Slide, 10+1 Capacity, Austrian-Made
The Glock G37 Gen3 was the first handgun chambered for the proprietary .45 GAP cartridge, delivering .45-caliber ballistics in a 9 mm/.40-sized frame. This full-size pistol features the now-discontinued Gen3 Tenifer slide finish, an accessory rail, and Glock’s proven Safe Action system. Its combination of compact .45 performance, historical law-enforcement adoption, and low-production caliber makes this G37 an eye-catching choice for Glock enthusiasts.

What’s Included

- Glock OEM hard plastic pistol case
- Glock Model 37 owner’s manual
Introduced in 2003, the G37 was engineered around the .45 GAP round to provide .45 ACP-level energy without the need for a larger frame. As a result, shooters get reduced grip circumference and faster follow-up shots compared with traditional double-stack .45s.
This Gen3 variant carries the original Tenifer treatment—an extremely hard, corrosion-resistant slide finish no longer offered on later generations. The matte black surface pairs with rear slide serrations for confident manipulation in any conditions.
The 4.49-inch cold-hammer-forged barrel uses Glock’s octagonal polygonal rifling, unique to the company’s .45-caliber pistols. The design promotes a tight gas seal, slightly higher velocities, and simplified cleaning, while the 1:15.75 RH twist stabilizes common .45 GAP bullet weights.
Glock’s Safe Action system combines a 5.5-lb trigger with trigger, firing-pin, and drop safeties. An integral accessory rail accommodates lights or lasers, and the fixed polymer sights feature a white-dot front and white “U” rear for quick alignment.
Two 10-round magazines accompany the pistol, matching standard capacity limits in restricted states. The model’s adoption by several U.S. state police agencies underscores its real-world reliability and service history.
