Marlin 336C .35 Rem Lever-Action Carbine | JM-Stamped 20" Micro-Groove Barrel
This 2008 Marlin 336C Carbine is a late North Haven, JM-proofed example chambered in the less-common .35 Remington. A 20-inch Micro-Groove barrel, large-loop lever, and factory scope bases on the solid-top receiver give this carbine strong utility while preserving classic Marlin aesthetics. Clean metalwork, crisp rifling, and select walnut furniture make it an appealing piece for shooters and collectors alike.

What’s Included
- Marlin Model 336C lever-action rifle chambered in .35 Remington
- Factory-installed scope bases on the receiver
Built in Marlin’s North Haven plant just before the Remington transition, this rifle carries the sought-after “JM” barrel stamp, confirming original Marlin manufacture and quality.
The 20-inch carbon-steel barrel uses Marlin’s Micro-Groove rifling and a 1:16 RH twist, giving the .35 Remington cartridge reliable accuracy while keeping the carbine fast-handling.
A large-loop lever enhances control with gloves and adds a distinctive look. The receiver is side-eject and drilled and tapped, so the included scope bases sit low without blocking ejection.
The checkered walnut pistol-grip stock features a fluted comb and a factory rubber recoil pad that keeps the 6+1-round carbine comfortable to shoot. Matching walnut fore-end completes the classic profile.
Safety comes from a cross-bolt hammer-block system, giving the shooter a positive on-/off position while preserving traditional lever-gun operation.
