This Super X3 features Winchester’s self-adjusting Active Valve gas system, which regulates itself for consistent cycling with a wide range of 12-gauge slug loads while keeping felt recoil manageable. The rotating bolt locks solidly into the barrel extension, contributing to the shotgun’s reliability and accuracy.
The 22" steel barrel is fully rifled and chrome-plated for longevity. Its cantilever rail is attached directly to the barrel, so optics remain sighted-in after the gun is disassembled for transport or cleaning. If you prefer iron sights, the red fiber-optic front and adjustable rear rifle sights are ready out of the box.
The aluminum alloy receiver and synthetic stock keep weight down while maintaining strength. Winchester’s Inflex recoil pad, paired with sling-swivel eyelets and an adjustable 14.25" length of pull, make the gun comfortable to shoulder and easy to carry through the woods.
Routine maintenance is straightforward thanks to the drop-out trigger group that removes without tools. A fixed four-round tubular magazine plus one in the chamber gives hunters five shots on tap, and the cross-bolt safety is familiar and intuitive.
