The LWRC IC-A5 Pistol brings the company’s battle-proven short-stroke piston system to a compact, brace-equipped AR platform. Finished in Flat Dark Earth Cerakote and built around a 12.7-inch cold-hammer-forged barrel, this model offers fully ambidextrous controls, a monolithic upper with full-length Picatinny rail, and a two-position adjustable gas block for suppressed or unsuppressed fire. The IC-A5 Pistol uses LWRC’s proprietary short-stroke gas piston operating system, keeping the action cooler and cleaner than direct-impingement designs. A nickel-boron-coated bolt carrier further enhances reliability and ease of cleaning.
Its 12.7-inch spiral-fluted barrel is cold-hammer-forged from steel and NiCorr treated for extended life and corrosion resistance. The 1/2-28 threaded muzzle allows easy attachment of flash hiders, compensators, or suppressor mounts, and the two-position gas block lets the shooter optimize cycling when running a can.
Controls are fully ambidextrous—bolt catch, magazine release, safety selector, and nickel-Teflon-treated charging handle—so both left- and right-handed shooters can operate the pistol efficiently. An ergonomic LWRCI pistol grip with aggressive texturing provides a positive grasp even in adverse conditions.
The one-piece monolithic upper integrates a free-float vented aluminum handguard and a full-length numbered Picatinny rail for consistent accessory mounting. LWRCI Skirmish flip-up sights come installed, giving a dependable back-up aiming solution out of the box.
An adjustable, telescoping brace finished to match the Flat Dark Earth receiver rounds out the package, offering stability without sacrificing the pistol classification.
