Built in Japan during the 1960s–1970s and imported by Charles Daly, this B.C. Miroku Model 500 Field Grade pairs traditional craftsmanship with robust forged-steel construction. Matching serial numbers throughout, factory scroll engraving, and chopper-lump barrels give it a level of quality collectors recognize, while its solid mechanical features make it a reliable field gun.

Overall Condition: Good condition, showing some signs of prior use and handling.
Bore Condition: Excellent - Clean, mirror finish, no signs of wear.
Specific Condition Notes: Light surface rust is beginning to form in small areas on the blued metal, and the stock and metal show scattered handling marks from previous use.

The 28-inch blued barrels are chopper-lump joined for strength and regulated with fixed Full (right) and Modified (left) chokes, optimized for 2 ¾ inch loads. A single brass bead front sight offers a clear, uncomplicated sight picture.
The forged-steel receiver carries factory scroll and rosette border engraving that extends onto the trigger guard, adding subtle visual appeal without compromising its working-gun roots. Double under-bolt lock-up and matching serial numbers on all major components confirm tight, original fit.
Functionally, the shotgun retains its classic double-trigger, non-selective layout with an automatic tang safety and extractor system. These features combine to keep operation straightforward and familiar for upland hunters and vintage-gun enthusiasts alike.
The oil-finished walnut stock features crisp checkering, a pistol-grip profile, and a beavertail forend for secure handling. An aftermarket Kick-Eez recoil pad brings length of pull to 14.5 inches while softening felt recoil.
