Launched in 2020 as Rossi’s first dedicated rimfire lever gun, the Rio Bravo delivers familiar western styling in a caliber that’s inexpensive to shoot. The under-barrel tube holds 15 rounds of .22 LR, with an extra round in the chamber when needed.
The polymer fore-end features three M-LOK-style slots on each side, giving you easy attachment points for a light, sling mount, or other accessories without adding weight. A rear sling stud comes installed on the stock for quick field carry.
Sighting is fast thanks to the fiber-optic system: a red front ramp naturally centers between twin green rear dots, and the rear sight is fully adjustable for elevation and windage. If you prefer glass, 11 mm dovetail grooves are machined into the receiver for tip-off rimfire optics.
Safety is handled by a cross-bolt lock and a half-cock hammer notch—features rarely seen together on a lever action—giving shooters an added layer of security during loading or administrative handling.
Despite its steel barrel, the Rio Bravo stays nimble. The aluminum-alloy receiver and polymer furniture keep weight low, while the 13.5" length of pull fits a wide range of shooters, from younger enthusiasts to seasoned adults.
