Ithaca Model 37 Featherlight Field Grade 20 Gauge Pump-Action Shotgun, 28-Inch Vent Rib, Fixed Full Choke, 1976
The 1976-production Ithaca Model 37 Featherlight offered here pairs the line’s well-known bottom-eject pump system with a roto-forged, 28-inch vent-rib barrel and factory fixed FULL choke. A steel receiver with factory game-scene engraving, lightweight 6-pound build, and walnut furniture give this Field Grade a balance of durability and classic styling. Chambered for 2 ¾-inch 20 gauge shells, it includes the post-1975 disconnector for added safety while preserving the smooth, single-bar action the Model 37 is known for.

What’s Included
- Ithaca Model 37 Featherlight Field Grade 20 gauge shotgun
The Model 37’s bottom-eject design makes this shotgun equally friendly to right- and left-handed shooters while keeping spent hulls away from your line of sight. The steel receiver features factory game-scene engraving that adds visual appeal without compromising strength.
Its 28-inch roto-forged barrel is concentric and durable, topped with a ventilated rib and orange front bead for quick sight alignment. The fixed FULL choke offers tight patterns well-suited for upland hunting or longer-range clay targets.
Walnut furniture includes a pistol-grip stock with crisp checkering and a matching corncob slide handle. Length of pull measures 14 inches, capped by an alloy butt-plate marked “ITHACAGUN” with a white spacer.
The action holds two rounds in the magazine plus one in the chamber (2+1) and incorporates Ithaca’s post-1975 disconnector, preventing unintended slam-fire while maintaining the model’s trademark smooth pump stroke.
