- Eastfield Model 916 12 Gauge pump-action shotgun
Derived from the Noble Model 66 design but branded for Smith & Wesson’s sporting line, the Eastfield series saw limited production before the company shifted to Japanese-built replacements. The B-prefix serial confirms original U.S. manufacture.
The 30-inch carbon-steel barrel carries a vent rib topped with a brass bead, giving the shooter a clear sighting plane. Its fixed Full choke delivers tight patterns, well suited for waterfowl or longer-range clay targets.
A 3-inch chamber—still compatible with standard 2 3/4-inch shells—sets this gun apart from many budget pumps of the period, expanding ammunition options without modifying the firearm.
Furniture is classic American walnut. The stock features a pistol-grip wrist and a ventilated recoil pad, while the finger-grooved fore-end provides positive control during rapid cycling.
The blued carbon-steel receiver and barrel bear the “PROOF TESTED” mark, underscoring factory quality assurance and adding to the shotgun’s collector appeal.
