Sig Sauer P226-XFIVE Custom Works STAS 9mm Full-Size Single-Action Pistol
The P226-XFIVE Custom Works STAS is Sig Sauer’s competition-tuned take on the classic P226. Built on a full-size stainless-steel frame with a 5-inch bull barrel and a flat-faced, fully adjustable AX3 trigger, this model arrives hand-fitted from Sig Custom Works for tight tolerances and repeatable accuracy. A PRO-footprint optic-ready slide, sport “gas-pedal” takedown lever, and fiber-optic target sights make this XFive ready for serious range work right out of the case.

The stainless-steel frame and slide wear a matching natural matte finish that resists glare and blends with the Hogue G10 Piranha grips for a secure, aggressive hold. A full-length dust cover adds forward weight and houses a four-slot Picatinny rail for lights or lasers.
Sig’s PRO-footprint optic cut sits forward of wide rear serrations and ships with a flush cover plate, giving you the choice of running iron sights or direct-mounting a ROMEO1PRO, ROMEO2, or compatible red dot. The slide also carries a green fiber-optic front sight and a fully adjustable square-notch rear for precise point-of-impact control.
The single-action-only AX3 trigger is hand-tuned at the factory and offers user adjustment for pull weight, over-travel, and length-of-pull, allowing each shooter to dial in a crisp break. An extended, oversized magazine release speeds reloads, while an ambidextrous manual thumb safety and internal firing-pin block maintain safe handling.
A sport takedown lever—often called the “gas pedal”—provides a forward thumb rest that helps manage recoil and muzzle rise during rapid strings. Factory testing documented a 0.45-inch, three-shot group at 10 meters on January 4, 2024, underscoring the pistol’s match-grade potential.
