What’s Included
- Marlin Model 1894CS .357 Magnum lever-action rifle
Made in North Haven and marked with the desirable “JM” proof, this 1894CS represents Marlin’s traditional build quality before the brand’s change in ownership. The cross-bolt safety that defines the CS variant adds an extra layer of security without altering the rifle’s classic handling.
Marlin’s 12-groove Micro-Groove rifling in the 18.5 inch carbon-steel barrel promotes consistent accuracy and easier maintenance. The bore remains in excellent shape, reflecting minimal use.
The solid-top receiver side-ejects spent cases, keeping clearance for mounting optics on the factory drilled-and-tapped holes. For those who prefer irons, the rifle retains its ramped brass-bead front post (hood removed) and semi-buckhorn rear sight.
An 8+1 round tubular magazine feeds both .357 Magnum and .38 Special, giving the shooter flexibility for hunting, range work, or defensive roles. The straight-grip walnut stock offers a 13.75 inch length of pull, a rubber butt-pad for recoil absorption, and factory sling studs for field carry.
