The 92X Compact FR uses a 7075-T6 aluminum Vertec frame with a hard-coat anodized finish, offering strength and reduced weight while providing a slimmer, straight-back grip angle that many shooters prefer.
An integral three-slot MIL-STD-1913 rail allows quick attachment of lights or lasers. Combined with the pistol’s oversize, reversible magazine release and ambidextrous slide-mounted safety/decocker, the platform is built for adaptable, left- or right-hand use.
The Black Bruniton-finished slide retains the classic open-top profile that aids reliability and reduces felt recoil. Rear grasping serrations enhance manipulation, while the dovetailed sights—orange/red front blade and drift-adjustable square-notch rear—provide a clear, fast sight picture. A 5.75-inch sight radius supports accurate shooting.
This Compact FR variant is shipped in safety/decocker configuration but can be converted to a decocker-only setup using Beretta’s universal slide kit. The chrome-lined barrel resists corrosion and wear, ensuring long service life with minimal maintenance.
