This no-thumb-safety variant keeps controls simple while still offering a reversible magazine release and a hinged trigger safety. Four magazines—two 17-round and two 15-round—give you flexibility for duty, range, or concealed carry, and the aggressively textured grip with interchangeable palmswell inserts tailors the feel to your hand.

The slide wears Smith & Wesson’s durable black Armornite nitride finish and features both front and rear wave serrations for positive manipulation. A four-inch stainless barrel—also Armornite treated—uses a 1:10" right-hand twist for reliable performance with modern 9mm loads.
True to its law-enforcement lineage, this example ships with steel tritium night sights: an orange-outlined front dot flanked by two green rear dots for quick sight acquisition in low light. The reversible magazine release supports both right- and left-handed shooters.
Magazine compatibility is broad: the included 15-round flush-fit magazines keep the profile compact, while the two 17-round magazines provide full-size capacity without sacrificing the pistol’s 4" balance. First-generation M&P9 magazines will also work, adding flexibility for owners with existing gear.
