Mossberg 590 Shockwave SPX 12 Gauge Pump Action with TL-Racker Light & 14-Inch Heavy Barrel
The Mossberg 590 Shockwave SPX marries the compact, non-NFA Shockwave platform with the factory SPX accessory suite and a Streamlight TL-Racker 1,000-lumen forend light. Built on the battle-proven 590A1 lineage, this 12 gauge firearm features a 14-inch heavy-walled barrel, heat shield, breacher muzzle, and receiver-mounted side-saddle, creating a turnkey defensive package that stays under 26.4 inches overall length.

What’s Included
- Streamlight TL-Racker 1,000-lumen shotgun forend light (installed)
- 5-round polymer receiver-mounted side-saddle (installed)
- Black nylon shotgun shell pouch
- Factory ribbed corncob polymer forend with nylon strap (loose)
With its 14-inch heavy-walled steel barrel meeting MIL-SPEC 3443 endurance criteria, the 590 Shockwave SPX is engineered for hard use. The breacher-style muzzle offers secure standoff placement and the cylinder bore provides consistent spread patterns at defensive ranges.
The SPX package adds a ventilated steel heat shield, a factory top rail for optics, and a five-round side-saddle that keeps extra shells immediately accessible without adding bulk.
The installed Streamlight TL-Racker replaces the standard forend with an ergonomic polymer unit housing an internal 1,000-lumen white light. Ambidextrous pressure pads allow momentary or constant-on activation without shifting grip.
Mossberg’s twin action bars, steel bolt lock-up, and ambidextrous tang safety deliver the reliability shooters expect from the 590 series. The Raptor bird’s-head grip manages recoil while maintaining overall length below the 26-inch federal threshold, classifying this firearm as “Other Firearm” rather than a short-barreled shotgun.
Chambered for 2¾- or 3-inch shells, the magazine holds 5+1 rounds, giving ample capacity in a highly maneuverable package that weighs just 5.75 pounds unloaded.
