This VP9SK is built around HK’s precision strike trigger, delivering a crisp break and short reset that many shooters find intuitive and fast. The paddle-style magazine release and bilateral slide levers allow seamless operation from either hand, a benefit for defensive or duty use.
The 3.39 inch cold hammer forged barrel uses HK’s polygonal rifling, enhancing velocity and ease of cleaning while extending service life—HK rates the barrel for 90,000 rounds. A four-slot Picatinny rail in the dust cover supports lights or lasers without aftermarket parts.
The compact frame houses an interchangeable grip system with three backstraps and six side panels, offering 27 possible size combinations. This adaptability makes the VP9SK comfortable for a wide range of shooters and ideal for concealed carry.
HK’s Hostile Environment nitro-carburized finish protects the slide from corrosion and wear. Luminescent three-dot sights provide a clear sight picture in low light, and polymer charging supports at the rear of the slide give the shooter extra purchase during manipulations.
